Upgrading your kitchen electrics

Do you live in a new build house? Are your sockets and switches old yellowed? If you answered yes to either of those questions then it might be worth considering upgrading your home electrics.

Replacing sockets and switches for new decorative ones are a great way to enhance the feel of your home. Recently we were working on a small kitchen upgrade in Melksham. It was a relatively new house but the kitchen was a bit bland. The walls white, white sockets and no decorative lighting. The client had opted to upgrade their kitchen but having some marble effect mosaic tiles installed and having some new brushed chrome sockets and switches too. They work well with the darker elements of the tiles and give the room a bit more 'class'.

We also added some under cabinet lighting in the form of LED tape in an aluminium profile. We used a cool white (4000k) colour temperature to match with the white tiles.

If you need a registered electrician in Corsham, Bath or West Wiltshire for your electrical work then please give us a call.

Take Care When Selecting an Electrician!!

Many Electricians in Bath and West Wiltshire are simply not interested in small electrical works. They want the choice jobs, and will drop you like a hot potato when a bigger, supposedly more lucrative, project comes in.

Others advertise as electricians having no qualifications.  They thrive on the basis that you don’t understand what they do and, as a result, overcharge for shoddy, and often dangerous, work.

I set up Watt & Co. Electrical in order to fill a gap in the domestic sector. I want to provide you with a quality service that provides you with exactly what you need from an electrician.
