Today on a very cold Monday we've been installation new sockets and lights in a customers new garden office!
In this instance there was already power to the building because it was a shed. It's far more elegant now! We've extended the circuit and installed some new sockets including some USB sockets by the desk space and some indoor and outdoor lights.
When having a garden office installed with electric it's important to know exactly what you plan on using in terms of electrical equipment. Sometimes you can take a 13a fused spur from an existing socket, if you're only using it as a office with a small heater then this is adequate but as soon as you start looking at workshops or even EV car chargers then you need to think about putting in a bigger supply cable!
