Fluorescent lights are being banned soon!

Yes it's true. Much like the halogen light bulbs that start being phased out a few years ago, fluorescent lights are also being phased out and by September 2023 you won't be able to buy any more fluorescent light bulbs and your electrician will be installing only new LED lights. 

We should all be moving over to new LED lighting and properly disposing of the old fluorescent light bulbs. Did you know 1 fluorescent tube can contaminate up to 30,000 litres of water if disposed of incorrectly?

We replace lots of old fluorescent and halogen lighting in Corsham and Bath for new LED light fittings and there's plenty more to go yet. There is approximately another 100 million fluorescent tubes still in use across the UK. Imagine how long that will take your trusted electrician to replace!
