Fitting a new oven

If you've ever had to buy a new oven and need it installed you've probably considered paying the company you bought the oven from to install it for you only for them to turn up and say "Your installation is not what we expected in to be" perhaps they said it's unsafe.

Well, there's no need to worry, electricians in Corsham, Bath and Wiltshire hear this ALL the time. Not all home electrics are installed the same and the retailers delivery people aren't trained electricians. They often work to a book and if your electrics don't look like the pictures in their book then they won't install your new oven.

Some retailers charge £90 to install a new oven with an additional cost to remove and recycle the old one. At the time of writing this post Watt & Co. Electrical can install your new oven for just £6 more than the retailers, not only do you get the friendly service we pride ourselves on but you're also getting a qualified and registered electrician who understands what they're doing. As for your old oven, we recommend posting on Facebook looking for a scrap metal trader, they will usually come around and remove your old oven free of charge.

It's also worth noting that if your oven isn't heating up or your oven is tripping the electrics then you won't need to fork out for a brand new oven. It's almost always the fan element that has failed causing these symptoms to happen. We install replacement oven elements all the time and off brand elements can cost as little as £25.

If you need a new oven installed then give us a call on 01249 698 255

Take Care When Selecting an Electrician!!

Many Electricians in Bath and West Wiltshire are simply not interested in small electrical works. They want the choice jobs, and will drop you like a hot potato when a bigger, supposedly more lucrative, project comes in.

Others advertise as electricians having no qualifications.  They thrive on the basis that you don’t understand what they do and, as a result, overcharge for shoddy, and often dangerous, work.

I set up Watt & Co. Electrical in order to fill a gap in the domestic sector. I want to provide you with a quality service that provides you with exactly what you need from an electrician.
